Spanning 940 square meters, this house was designed to replace an outdated structure, preserving the property’s breathtaking natural beauty while addressing the needs of its residents. Surrounded by a dense tree park cultivated over decades, RF Residence harmonizes with its environment, creating a space where architecture and nature coexist seamlessly.

Preserving the Landscape

The design process began with the decision to maintain key elements of the site. The original stone wall, which defined the main plateau, and the property's topographic profile were preserved, ensuring minimal disruption to the landscape. This choice safeguarded the existing tree park and maintained the carefully cultivated ecosystem. The resulting home is not only visually stunning but also a testament to the importance of respecting and preserving natural surroundings in architectural design.

The Architectural Layout

RF Residence is centered around a double-height living area, situated on the highest plateau defined by the stone wall. This central space serves as the heart of the home, connecting seamlessly with an expansive balcony that overlooks the valley. Adjacent to this area are an open kitchen and a covered terrace next to the pool, perfect for entertaining and relaxation.

Innovative Use of Glued Laminated Timber
