Birth seeing it from an architectural point of view has begun in adequate facilities with all the equipment and preparations to be able to develop the first hours of life of the human being, throughout the life of man, diseases are developing which for some people are the final stretch in this adventure called life, these diseases need special care in order to allow them to give them a chance to prolong their life. Children with terminal diseases need not only to find a way to dignify life but also places where they can develop different types of playful activities by sharing with their friends; with this in mind, we set out to realize a project in which the infants could enjoy their last moments of life.

Before we begin with the design, we contacted health personnel to investigate the needs of these patients with palliative care, with this small interview we managed to make an inventory of the physical and psychological requirements that project users need in order for their last moments of life to be exciting enough for them. Also, we rely on the concept of several film clips in which by sharing with other people, exchanging laughter between patients and doctors, the use of colors and the concepts of risotherapy and ludotherapy can improve the quality of life of the patient. Therefore, thinking about the philosophy of risotherapy and ludotherapy allows us to create pleasant spaces for the habitat of children and doctors within the project, improving their lifestyle and if possible prolonging it.

The concept of the project was born from the need to generate visuals and connections to all sides of the lot and create a playful connection vertically. Similarly, the design is made from a modular grid of 5 meters by 5 meters which when becoming architecture can be molded to make spaces that users of the project can enjoy, inhabit, live different sensory and visual experiences, the above generates a very colorful hospice on its facade to give life to the moment to see it from the context, already at the moment of entering the administrative building are raised windows to be able to take advantage of the view towards the main playground of the project in which it breaks down in places of transit and of permanence to admire the immensity of the project, around this green area will be generated the rooms, the dining room, the room of doctors and nurses always allowing a direct relationship with this open area. From the first to the third floor there are different places where you can appreciate the moments of life in a cheerful, fun and peaceful way.

The materiality of the project was chosen according to the sensations that would be offered to the interior and exterior of each space, for example in the rooms with the help of the ceiling of different colors and dimensions, combined with wood and glass allows to generate a feeling of tranquility and warmth to be in a space that provides calm to live and see it. In the same way the furniture and the elements that accompany the architecture were thought in which their colors were alive and cheerful for the use of the target population. In the exterior part of the project, the aim was to play with the natural elements by applying them from the playground to the cladding of some walls that are planned as green walls to create freshness and a natural environment throughout the project.

At the time of consolidating the project, several determinants were taken into account for the realization of the project, one of them was the impact it would generate in the context in which it is proposed to be able to welcome and integrate any person who transits through the place, in order to generate a relationship between the population that lives and the users of the project. Also , with the help of natural elements is given an ecological approach that manages to welcome the workers and patients of that facility in order to integrate human beings with the natural environment, It should be noted that these raised green areas and water mirrors are of great help both for physical and mental health, in order to provide benefit to the population.
