The body is perforated by home (Liwans) shaped voids, representing what?s missing, while accenting towards transcendental. It rests on the site without imposing any precedence to any sides, magnetically absorbing the city from all sides towards its heart. The heart is where the light showers through the Oculus opening, offering the sky, which is still blue.

What is an oasis? According to the dictionary it means ?a pleasant or peaceful area or period in the midst of a difficult or hectic place or situation?. We build up our design concept around this oasis theme. We want to create a place where the local people can find peace and happiness in their present chaotic everyday life.

The historical exhibition hall is located on the central axis, and people enter the site through the perfect sky formed by the building and the site, and then enter the building. Going to the highest point in the building, you can see the city in the south. When people walk out of the building, they will see the ancient city in their eyes.

The main concern of our project was to create a fancy community space for architectural and design development. We were able to find a few solutions for different local problems and conceptually solved them. The idea was to harmoniously fit into the existing environment in particular to the local landmark - Sugarloaf Mountain.
