Iridescence
A marriage of sustainable materials with modern fabrication technologies, the pavilion features two rejuvenating zones that appeal to different demographics. Regardless of zone, the form is perforated to create an enchanting dialogue between dark and light, night and day.

Site plan and Section
Situated on one of the terraces in CapitaGreen, Singapore, the pavilion offers respite from the stresses of working life.
Zones of the pavilion
There are two zones, one contemplative and one social. Users have agency to pick whichever zone is right for them depending on their mood at the time.
Pavilion Axonometric
There are 3 materials in total - Aluminium, 3D Printed nodes and white bamboo. Both aluminium and bamboo are sustainable materials that produce an interesting combination of structure and beauty when combined. The use of modern technologies such as 3D Printing helps to overcome some of the obstacles associated with the pavilion, such as the bespoke nodes.
Environmental Simulations
Wind and solar analysis was used to rationalise and confirm the design choices. having a slight constant draft inside the pavilion is comfortable and helps to alleviate any heat that may be produced from the warming of the aluminium panels. Meanwhile, the panels themselves block out most of the solar radiation.
