The City Link

This proposal is trying to creating an unique waterfront cycling and walking experience. The bottom part is designed to extreme water-enjoyable-space with floating landscape. While the upper part is a skywalk with many recreational function, as well as a ViewPoint with unique scene, of which the circulation will not be interrupted by passage of ships.

The Bridge is divided into two separate paths (path A and B) for bicycles on the upper level - each one accessible by means of ramps - and a pedestrian path (path C) on a lower level accessible by elevator. This allows pedestrians - who simply want to cross the bridge quickly - do so on the lower level, and allow cyclists to enjoy the upper levels

The design of the project is inspired by the clash of the Baltic Sea and the North Sea on top of Skagen, Grenen, which translates to ¨the branch¨ due to its long and narrow appearance; a phenomenon that is not seen in many parts of the world and that is possible to observe in Denmark.
