About Discussions Projects107

Art direction encompasses the creative vision and decision-making that guides a design project's aesthetic, narrative, and overall impact. It involves establishing visual language, conceptual frameworks, and thematic coherence across all elements of a work.

Community members explore art direction through diverse approaches: experimental spatial interventions, cultural reinterpretations of historical narratives, investigations into material relationships and human habitation, and conceptual frameworks that challenge conventional design thinking.

Recovering Through Incision

The Project is in the north portion of the Bela Vista neighborhood (S?o Paulo, Brazil) and acts both in the urban and architectural scale. Treating its symptoms through a few strategic interventions, it aims to recover this degraded "urban organism" entirely, hence the name Recovering Through Incision. The viaduct crossings are a key aspect of this strategy.
