About Discussions Projects30 Journals1

Creative direction encompasses the overarching vision, conceptual framework, and decision-making that guides a design project from inception to completion. It involves establishing aesthetic direction, thematic coherence, and strategic messaging that informs all subsequent design choices.

The community explores creative direction through projects that demonstrate conceptual depth, from culturally-rooted residential designs like Bamboo Home and Amakan House to speculative urban interventions such as Vertical Cemetery and The Urban Link, showing how directional thinking shapes built outcomes.

3 in 1

This house was designed to be a simple box, a large and open space enclosing the sleeping areas. 3 in 1 represents the three generations living inside, as well as the distribution of spaces synthesised into a large common living area, an intimate sleeping area and a ”playground” dedicated not only to the children, but to the whole family.

Immigrant Family's Dream

With the wish of a world free of violence and war, we envisioned a Syrian family that is migrating to neighboring Lebanon and the city of Beirut as a result of civil war, unrest and conflict. We seek to make up for the psychological damage of war to this family.

Vertical Cemetery, Future of the Past

Global population keeps expanding and what happens to the dead? In 2014 report the world birth to death ratio is 3:1 which increases to 2:1 in the year 2016. It is estimated that in 2045 the land needed for burials around the world would come to an end. There is no archetypal form for a cemetery, so this design would create one such structure.

The Urban Link (T.U.L.)

We have moved away from the standard vision of the bridge and decided to use parametric form. It seems that the shape of our bridge directly links with nature, because only perfect, smooth and streamlined shape appears in the natural environment. The shape of our bridge can brighten up the urban environment and remind people where we came from.

Thanks to the unique shape and the opening solution, which during the opening procedure is going to create extremely beautiful show of morphing bridge. I think this can be great new landmark for Copenhagen.

Le MONSTRE de Clignancourt

While the metropolis of Paris is reaching for the skies to accomodate an increasing population and urban density, it is distanced from the soils on which it is founded. The monster reveals the abnormality of the urban voids and the creatures living in it, by providing light in the photosynthetic spectrum and shelter for inclusive activities to take place.
