CONCEPT: To preserve the main identity of Connaught Place and bring back its old glory of how significant the style of architecture and how the planning of Delhi was based on these aspects. The Neo-Delhi of tomorrow focuses on the park and to re-imagine the concept of the park in the context of Connaught Place.The idea of the park is broken down and redefined with a particular nature and a purpose.

Rather than focusing on micro-rewrites that would only attempt to alleviate Connaught Place?s urban issues, the proposal creates a mega-rewrite. Micro-rewrites would only operate as handiwork. Through this mega-rewrite, Connaught Place will be demolished and rebuilt: a TABULA RASA.

To make it a better place, we propose architectural, urban solutions to the problems that it carries, such as lack of walkability and traffic. With commercial, cultural, religious, political and inclusive aspects in mind, new programs are introduced in to the site.
