The Park Collective

The Central Park of Connaught Place is important as a social and political gathering space, as a transit node, for cultural events and festivals. The Neo-Delhi of tomorrow focuses on the park and to re-imagine the concept of the park in the context of Connaught Place. The idea of the park is broken down and redefined with a particular nature and a purpose.

Tabula Rasa

Today, lingering nostalgia must not prevent Delhi from progressing. Rather than focusing on micro-rewrites that would only attempt to alleviate Connaught Place?s urban issues, the proposal creates a mega-rewrite. Micro-rewrites would only operate as handiwork. Through this mega-rewrite, Connaught Place will be demolished and rebuilt: a TABULA RASA.

New Delhi_ Boundless Sprawl

In the growing city of New Delhi, Connaught Place is one of the main identity of the city. To make it a better place, we propose architectural, urban solutions to the problems that it carries, such as lack of walkability and traffic. With commercial, cultural, religious, political and inclusive aspects in mind, new programs are introduced in to the site.
