About Discussions Projects13 Journals2

Mosaic is an ancient art form that arranges small pieces of colored materials into larger images or patterns. Designers working with mosaics explore both traditional craftsmanship and modern interpretations, applying the technique across various scales and mediums.

The community examines mosaic design through mural installations, pixel-based digital work, cultural interventions, and historical preservation. Projects range from contemporary canvas murals and public art installations to archaeological discoveries and heritage-focused design that revitalizes spaces through mosaic composition.

WATER INSPIRED CANVA MURAL

Mural inspired in water elements and sacred geometry. This design is inspired in water, fish scales and both their reflections. Using these three images as a starting point I created the drawing where the fish and water come together with the flower of life and vesica piscis.
