18Honorable MentionHANGING SPACESThe building follows the reduction of functional zones in order to create open light,air-permeable common areas and increase the communication between the residents. Three residential units were equalized in height and also kept in an organic design language. The open facade transports the interior to the outside and conveys the image of floating room units.

1Unifying LoopUnderstanding the natural environment is instrumental when taking action to revive and bring new life to it. The loop intends to create spaces that encourage a dialogue between the built environment and the natural environment. While, creating space where koalas may receive the necessary attention they need.
97People's Choice AwardWine TempleIt is sometimes by looking at everything that we see nothing. Surrounded by the vineyards, an emergence rises from the ground. A socle gradually detaching itself from the slope allows to observe what surrounds us thanks to framed views. The experience consists in the sacralization of the wine, towards the architecture, the material, the space and the light.

6AFloat Our design consists of one starshaped neighborhood with residential houses and additional services (community gardens, playground and park). One neighborhood fits the given site, but it can be multiplied in each side, so this concept can solve much larger area. In that scenario, a number of “stars” create a “constellation”.
