This design utilizes the local flooding risk, provides spaces for the existing watercourses to flood safely, and reuse water as a natural media to bring a sense of wonder and enjoyment of play to this suburban environment.

Considering today's cities as a disease, this thesis follows the process of extracting an 'antigen' in its attempt of developing an 'antibody' to make the future city immune.
49TOMORROW WILL BE A BETTER DAYWe interpreted Aleppo through three alternative dimensions; culminating into 'The Memory Lane. It all started at 'Grand Serail of Aleppo'.Which is proposed to provide the initial shelter for all of the people who were in dire need after coming back. As people gradually shifted to their homes, they left traces to form a nostalgic public plaza.
12Future of memoryThe most significant element of design is the new building line which creates a square around citadel. This boundary line indicates upcoming quarters to fill with new buildings where new functions can be placed. The project recreates destroyed functions in the places of bomb craters by redesigning them showing particular essence of each buildings.
7Bab Al-Atlal: Remembering Through DebrisBab Al-Atlal is a memorial landscape, a public space on the footprint of the former Grand Serail of Aleppo. We argue against the reconstruction of the Serail, as an act to remember the immeasurable loss of life, property, and social and cultural capital in Aleppo and Syria at large. In this proposal, debris from destruction is the locus of collective memory.

25Hive MindThe traditional digital facade is the product of consumerism. Most of the contents displayed cater to the mainstream values, and its significance and function have great limitations. Our design maximizes the activation of local space by introducing drones with a greater emphasis on human interaction.
26VivaanVivaan is full of life, something that glows in the sky. What better to appreciate sky than water and life than lotus. The artwork is inspired from this linked meaning, and since lotus itself has its roots deepened to the life, creation, water, stability and origin, moreover its the flower of lord brahma, the originator.
