The architects tried to explore something emotional in a regular, normal rectangular box. At night, an interactive light control program changed the lighting on filaments and allowed them to appear in various colors as people walked through.

Hi Ladders High - Non-profit Project For Kids In Mountains

One Take Architects and college volunteers, left-behind children designed and built this spatial pavlion. Hi Ladders High consists of 20 independent wooden ladders. This kind of ladder is one of the most common and easily accessible tools in Chinese rural areas.

Using analog and digital methods, we were able to create a tunnel that follows the topography of the landscape. The design itself is an arch that changes continuously from one end to the other. The form of this structure is the result of an organic shape generated from one rib design. The focus was to create a beacon for the university community.

The Timeout is a 7-feet-high pavilion consisting of abstract components that resemble animals in motion that race into an endless swirling form. Together, they form a mass that is both static and dynamic. The forced dichotomy between the playful and the grotesque brings back childhood memories and surreal dreams.

Illusory Space

The concept of the work is playing 2D graphics and 3D space. The black and white 2D strips on the wall and extend as black and white 3D wood structure. This concept also creates the Morie effect - when the viewer is seeing this sculpture and walk into different angles, the viewer is seeing the pattern changes.

UPCYCLED PAVILION

The pavilion was constructed using 30,000 discarded plastic bottles obtained through the support of leading hotels & beverage companies. Evolution to time - various materialities to return to the beginning.

The clock marks the time and the time history, the place that I put is something for people to spend their time resting, enjoying a free square that has the functionality of a solar clock, marked by the material diversity that compose it throughout of a history of evolutionary discoveries. Art object "Sacred" is a reflection on the theme "Geometry of love" within the festival "Parallel world" held in Novosibirsk in 2015. The shape of the object represents a fusion of two elements - male and female. The feeling that arises between people inspires, raises them to a new level of spirituality. Something sacred, a mystery of two come in love.

PAVILION OF SPACE AND TIME. Dedicated to Architect K. Melnikov.

This pavilion was designed for the exhibition of wooden housing construction, as a stand of one of the homebuilding companies. The pavilion was used as a place for meetings, recreation, lectures. After the exhibition, it was disassembled and transported to the Nikola-Lenivets art park, where it became a favorite place to relax during various events.

Woolscape transforms the lobby of a building through the installation of 58 vertical suspended planes composed of 12,000 wool threads. Reshaping the once static and lifeless area into a vibrant transient space, Woolscape invites passersby to navigate within, and around the structure.

Color Constellation

Color Constellation is a series of star shaped structures suspended from the walls and ceiling of a room. The constellation consists of 5 stars. Each a different color and size. Each is constructed out of flexible soft spandex fabric. It is intended to be pushed, pulled and entered. Once inside visitors are immersed in intense color and the soft forms.

Silent Meditation Cabin

When creating a cubicle of meditation, the criterion was to be designed without any extra. And create a space in which you can set up meditation. You can combine nature with a panoramic window on the main facade. On the first floor you can store the necessary accommodation for your stay, on the second floor you can rest at night, and meditate on the day.

GROZNO

GROZNO is a spatial installation creating a meeting point at the GRAPE music festival. The aim of the installation was to create a space, where people can meet and lost be found. This large CD grape was an experimental idea designed for a student competition and it has become a symbol in the blurry festival environment.

Greatham Creek Seal Hide

A Seal Hide design in a nature reserve in North England, a habitat of recovering Seal Population. The hide is a final stage of an ambitious wetland regeneration project. Aiming to appeal to both the serious enthusiasts while also attracting casual visitors. The Hide is a complex faceted weathered steel structure, made up of twin perforated layers.

Kaleidoscope-Periscope

The Kaleidoscope-Periscope is an inhabitable viewfinder. People leave the world of the city only to encounter a distorted world mixed with fragments of their own images. The mirrored steel surfaces and the conical shell structure create a rigid kaleidoscope that produces patterns reflected from Biltmore Park’s tree canopy and the city skyline beyond.

Loop Dome

Loop Dome is an 18ft diameter bending-active dome structure made with glass fiber reinforced polymers (GFRP) and a thin elastic membrane covering. The whole structure including the membrane weighs only 128.6lb and was assembled in about four hours without any scaffolding with a group of seven people.
