3WinnerGrid of Agreement The project is about the revival of the ecosystem on the waterfront and the Arno River in Florence, Italy. Grid of Agreement is a metaphore of the project - a place, where human connect with the nature by using the grid system. All was inspired by environment of the place and was created in the rhythm of renaissance.
38People's Choice AwardF.I.G(Float_In Gem)Water flows, we follow. Rather than artificially blocking the water, we thought of a way to let it flow as it is. We made a new floor at a height of 2.5m to return a space in Arno, which is separate to the citizens. This floor is connected to the flow of the road to help expand the new space. This 'extension' is a roof for some and a floor for others.

The main aim underlying us during the design process was the conferral of the inhalation function, where the salt graduation works became the main inspiration. The inhalation room along the wall is a multisensory zone where you can forget that you are in a big city.

Our project was inspired by poetry itself, in particular the poem "The Divine Comedy" by Dante and its journey through the underworld, as well as the symbolism of numbers.
