Why Bamboo?

Bamboo is a low carbon material and also has good tensile and compressive strength. It grows quite easily and is versatile in use.

The pavilion is inspired by the outward growth of the bamboo tree. A canopy like structure that shelters people and also acts as a gathering space, community event space and outdoor deck.

The wave like roof form hovers over the bamboo columns giving a feeling of lightness to the structure.

The installation is simple and can be configured to any size and user requirement.
