COSMIC ODYSSEY: AN IMMERSIVE ARCHITECTURAL JOURNEY
Blending futuristic architecture with space exploration, this visionary design bridges Earth and the cosmos, inspiring the future of discovery.
Exploring Space Through Architectural Innovation
The goal of this architectural design was to create a sculptural building that symbolizes the unity of Earth and space, ultimately inspiring a new generation of space exploration. By integrating futuristic architecture with interactive space exhibits, the project "COSMIC ODYSSEY" takes visitors on an immersive journey that highlights the importance of Earth, space travel, and the celestial elements.

A Sequential Journey Through Space and Time
The building is meticulously designed to be experienced in a sequential order, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of planetary sustainability, space missions, and the vastness of the universe. From Earth to the Moon, Mars, and beyond, visitors will engage with interactive exhibits that simulate rocket launches, space training, and celestial navigation. The journey culminates in a breathtaking roof terrace, where the elements of Earth—fire, wind, and water—are incorporated into the design, reinforcing the delicate balance between our planet and the cosmos.

Futuristic Architecture Meets Cosmic Exploration
A core component of this project is its innovative architecture, which merges sculptural aesthetics with sustainable design principles. The planetarium serves as a central landmark, featuring a revolving structure that forms a direct architectural connection with the International Space Station. Cantilevered and elevated spaces provide an ethereal experience, making visitors feel as though they are truly floating in space.
A Visionary Creation by Zayra Susana Rico
This groundbreaking project, designed by Zayra Susana Rico, was a shortlisted entry for the prestigious Moontrip 2019 competition, demonstrating its significance in the field of space architecture. By blending education, sustainability, and innovative design, Cosmic Odyssey serves as a testament to how architecture can bridge the gap between our world and the vast universe beyond.
"Architecture is not just about buildings; it is about storytelling, inspiring minds, and shaping the future of exploration."
Experience the Future of Space Architecture
Through this project, visitors are invited to embark on an unforgettable architectural journey—one that not only educates but also ignites a passion for space travel and sustainability. The future of exploration starts here, where architecture and the cosmos become one.
