Grainep is a project that takes a grain bin. to design as a accommodation center and a training area for those interested in agriculture. In a new innovative way. Use 12 grain bins to build a accommodation center. It can be rented for 2-3 weeks. Total 10 units. Each unit consists of bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living area. Supports up to 4 users per unit, located in Osage City, Kansas, USA.
The concept design of this architecture is
“To encourage users interaction.”
The management area of 658 square meters will be divided into 2 parts, the public area and the private area. Which the public area is the area for those who come to train and those who visit or the general public. It consists of areas where you can interact with each other, to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of agriculture and areas that have taken action in practice to be further developed or applied. As for the private area, it will be the area of all residences. Part of the roof has been partially removed from the original roof of the grain bins will be replaced by green areas and arrange solar panels to generate electricity for use inside the building.
