Lorem Ipsum Hospice Architectural Drawings
Building Plan and Section
Inspired by the changing seasons, Lorem Ipsum Hospice captures the ambiance of the four seasons into the garden plan design. Seasons happen in a constant cycle, each season affects our daily activities to a certain extent. Seasons are important markers of the way we live. Seasons propagate their surrounding activity. The gardens, like seasons, though not directly part of our lives, are a huge factor affecting it.
Each of the four gardens represents the everchanging seasons. The garden functions are as follows;
1. The Recreational Garden represents the Summer Season (Yellow)
2. The Memorial Garden represents the Autumn Season (Orange)
3. The Extension Garden represents the Spring Season (Pink); and
4. The Neighbourhood Garden (Blue) represents the Winter Season
The garden acts as the heart of activity spaces, generating various activities and spaces surrounding it.
To access the first floor, visitors are provided with lifts and stairs. Stairs are located in the winter area and the autumn area, meanwhile lifts are located in the winter area.
The first floor mostly consists of patient's rooms. There are also family rooms, cafeteria and garden terraces on this floor. To access the second floor, visitors are provided with one more vertical circulation, the green stair.
The second floor mostly consists of therapy rooms such as music room and hydrotherapy room.
