Design Notes Of Container City
With the rapid development of the global economy, transportation has undoubtedly become an important part. Shipping, with its large capacity and relatively low price, occupies the leading position in the transportation industry.
Containers, as the basic packaging unit for shipping, are produced in large quantities. They are cheap and the material strength is high, and also easy to obtain. However, there is a problem that a large number of containers that beyond the date of use abandoned.
In this competition, how to rebuild them with new functions through design is what we focus. When the container needs to be transformed into a student apartment, what are its advantages? And what should we pay attention to when designing it? How these elements can be reasonably combined in a limited space? We create a rich spatial and visual relationship throug overlapping a new living area above these containers.
