Design Notes

Situated along the central axis, the exhibition hall forms a ring embedded within the earth. Visitors enter through a circular sky that seamlessly connects the natural and architectural elements, symbolizing infinity. Upon ascending to the highest point, the city’s skyline unfolds to the south, while descending reveals the contours of the ancient city—offering a juxtaposition of history and innovation.

This "Tomorrow "project reimagines Syria’s cultural resilience, incorporating eco-friendly methods while preserving its heritage. The deliberate circular structure not only minimizes environmental impact but also fosters harmony between its surroundings.

Design Concept: "Sustainable Hope"

Giving hope is as much about envisioning a better tomorrow as it is about respecting yesterday. This hall becomes a metaphor for Syria’s journey from turmoil to peace—a space where visitors experience the transition of history into light and renewal. The eye-shaped formation represents the timeless gaze into both the past and the future.

By blending traditional aesthetics with modern sustainable practices, the project aligns with the principles of sustainable architecture, which focus on creating enduring, environmentally conscious spaces.
