PROJECT REPORT
1. Architectural Project Report
In the proposed project, solutions have been developed in line with
environmental characteristics, functional programs and the purposes of
producing livable space suitable for the needs of the users. The design
approach is based on the principle of creating a building community that
respects and is sensitive to the structural and plant values of the campus.
In order to preserve the existing presence of trees in the campus, the design
sought to obtain indoor and outdoor spaces that users can adopt, easily
perceive, adapt to, suitable for human scale.
At the stage of positioning the masses in the campus, there remains a
limited area of construction, taking into account the treeless spaces in the
land, the existing entrances, and the surrounding tissue. For this purpose,
mass composition was formed by following two basic strategies. The first
strategy is to determine the architectural program at a minimum level in
accordance with needs, regulations and standards and to use the structure
efficiently.
This approach will also ensure that construction and operating costs are
kept to a minimum. The second strategy is to obtain a holistic mass of
structures that will allow direct access between structures with decoupled
volume. proposed as.
In accordance with these concerns, instead of the structures removed,
structures with safe garden relationships on a human scale are designed
with different jeans that are separated according to functions with an
indoor – outdoor fiction that will sensitively relate to the immediate
environment without damaging the dense tree tissue.
The area is constructed on 2 important axes in the east-west direction and
north-south direction, based on the tracks from the past, and the main
places are designed on these October axes. The north-south axis to the
west of the area forms the main corridor, where there are main entrances
and access to the subunits from here October.
Contemporary, with a holistic design approach, and evaluated the full
potential of the field in order to enhance the spatial quality of the workshop
closed with the design of the spaces to maximize the relationship-based
private, sheltered interior gardens, terraces is designed to Yeşilova.
Material choices and building technologies in buildings are designed with
environmentally friendly approaches, which also provide safety. A sun
breaker that forms a double wall has been proposed in the exterior of the
building. 20cm outside the window, as protected windows are required for
users ' safety. vertical Sunbreaker elements have been proposed at a
distance of. Coated aluminum profiles supported by steel carrier are
proposed in the sun breaker system. 20cm between decks to ensure both
safety and proper shadow and Light Balance. the width was calculated and
the outer wall structure was formed accordingly.
The vertical bearing system of the structure has been proposed in 7m*7m
spaced grating reinforced concrete system, taking into account seismicity
and construction costs, to obtain volumes in accordance with the program.
Column December 7m in the Southeast lane of block A.* 9.50 m. It is
located on the axles. The cross section dimensions of the columns are
55cm*55cm. it is calculated in dimensions. Considering the size of the
floor, air conditioning and other installation dimensions, the appropriate
floor height of the structures is 4.5 m. Designed to measure. The thickness
of flooring in structures is 30cm. it consists of reinforced concrete slabs in
thickness. Conference hall interior height 4.5 m at the entrance, 8m above
the stage. Is.
When developing plant landscape recommendations, recommendations
have been developed taking into account the existing plant texture, climate
and emotional states of the users. October yesiled deciduous trees have
been proposed in addition to the evergreen tree texture (especially in the
Pinaceae family). An appropriate seasonal color and fragrance composition
has been proposed to contribute to users ' relaxation, relaxation, and
enjoyment in emotional states (Cercis siliquastrum, Robinia pseudoacacia,
Wisteria sinensis, Tilia Cordata). Different garden typologies have been
determined in open space designs.
Art Gardens, event spaces are designed to encourage artistic production
and sporting events.
The existing forest texture in the project area offers an isolated space for
human-sized users from the outer space. Creating spaces that will help
users spend quality time in this area has been one of the main goals.
Effective plants with texture, form, leaf and flower color were used in plant
selection. Some of these species are Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender),
Syringa vulgaris , Jasminum officinale , Rosmarinus officinalis ,
Pittosporum tobira.
Existing natural vegetation has been preserved in the project area.
