THE PALACES OF THE MIND
Depression borns inside us. Every second hundreds of pulses pass through the mind of our neural network. People do not think how our brain works and how important maintaining mental and physical health is. Everything is not as it seems at first sight.

The project has a very good starting point through the synapse. The formalization and articulation of functional needs is very successful.
Beautiful concept with huge potential. The project needs more detail and description to make good scores!
1. How do you think physical spaces make an impact on the users and their mental health? Man must be in unity with nature in order to be in harmony with himself. Angular apartments and houses - invented by man. Only curved flowing forms can imitate nature and integrate with it.
2. How does the design/form of community center act as a solution to break the stigmas associated with mental health? Space affects a person. It should not cause discomfort in a person, but should be open to constant change and growth. It must be adaptive and co-scaled to the person.
3. What is the concept behind your design idea? The concept is to make a person feel that everything is not what it seems from the outside. Our consciousness is an individual world. This world may be depressed or be in a state of happiness. And everyone deserves to be happy.
4. How does your design resonate with the idea of improving mental health condition of the visitors? The project proposal consists of two volumes - ground and underground. Underground volume is a data center for institutes and hospitals. In addition to storing information, the center, using a water cool system of servers, supplies warm water for heating nearby buildings. The ground part is the center, an open space that is intended for various events.
5. How did you use building materials to convey the same? Reinforced concrete is used as the supporting materials, the spatial surface structure allows you to get rid of the supporting elements, so the interior space is open and baptized in white. This makes it possible to project on the walls and arch any images and videos for public events.
6. What are the programmatic outlines of your Community Therapy Center? Every day new methods of treatment appear, so the space is subject to constant changes. The center is aimed at constant communication of people. If zones for individual therapy are required, temporary inflatable structures are built.
7. How does a data center affect people with its architecture? The structure is a huge polymer neural network into which servers are inserted. It is constantly changing with the help of a 3D printer mounted on the core. When a person enters, he sees the tip of the iceberg, but going up to the "cliff", he draws attention to a web, which is buried 60 meters underground. This emotion is a step towards realizing the seriousness of the problem.
8. Why are there no individual spaces in the center? Man is social. Society and constant communication with each other heals a person. This is a method for the rehabilitation and prevention of psychological diseases.
