UNderNature

A contemporary urban cemetery coexisting with urban daily life. The fundamental change of the mechanism of cemetery makes the capacity of worshiping scalable and flexible. The architectural form and waterscape allow users with different purposes coexist without interrupting with each other.

The commemoration rites will happen in an elevator cabin.

Midpoint for all the cultural referances including atheism is the transformation of the deceased after death, no matter if it is a spiritual place to go or a new natural state in lifetime. Walk each layer one by one; perceive the periods of each transformation process and get in-touch with the cycle of death to life to death again.
