Architecture for Water
Architectural approaches to water management, treatment, and integration within built environments.
Architecture for Water explores how designers address water as both a functional and aesthetic element in the built environment. Projects range from wastewater treatment facilities and water storage systems to residential designs that incorporate water management strategies and natural hydrological cycles.
The community examines water-responsive architecture through material experimentation, climate resilience, urban integration, and industrial infrastructure design. Work includes adaptive reuse of water systems, parametric water flow studies, and buildings that treat water management as a core design principle rather than an afterthought.
