Game-Utopia explores 21st-century architecture through AI, algorithmic design, and immersive technologies. An IT Institute in Dhaka and its digital twin in the metaverse test procedural geometry, behavioral heatmaps, and interactive spaces, reimagining learning, social interaction, and architectural experience in both physical and virtual worlds.

Extention : Sustainable housing

The project adds sustainable extensions to the Schammatwiese neighborhood, creating high-quality housing and semi-public communal areas while renovating façades. Using a modular timber system with clay and lime finishes, new apartments integrate into the existing grid. A new building adds barrier-free units, community spaces, and a social hub.

While analyzing the project site, we identified it as a threshold between the expanding city and surrounding nature. Instead of creating a sharp division, we approached sustainability as a unity where urban and natural elements intertwine. To meet the demands of the competition, which was to design a neighbourhoods with the ability to grow with the inhabitants, we were looking for a plan that could meet the cultural, social, climatic and sustainable development needs.

The proposed building serves the notion to develop the spaces which correspond to the constant interaction of the students with the building and the university through multiple lenses of visual, social, physical and cultural impact. In a strong gesture, a corresponding mass is added and connected with the existing building through a bridge on top.
