A Path Towards Resilience Through Community-Driven Activities at Gora-Digha, Kishoreganj
In the ‘Haor’(Seasonal wetlands), where the ground disappears each monsoon, permanence is an illusion. This project imagines architecture not as a defense against water but as an instrument of continuity, an adaptive civic landscape that allows communities to gather, endure and sustain dignity amid recurring cycles of flood and retreat.

Lake Texcoco once cradled Tenochtitlan, the heart of Mexica civilisation. Today barely 5 percent of that water remains, drained not by natural decline but by centuries of colonial drainage that read the lake as a threat rather than sacred ground. ODYSSEY
A light corridor creates a meditative atmosphere while walking. Light and shadow arise the association of memory and water landscape contains the poetry of meditation. Additionally, the meditative space and site structure are symbolized by common history and construction of ‘ruins + memory’ of the city wall, which illustrates the dialogue between history and contemporary.
I understand the idea of the building as a road or a path, as a metaphor of moving forward, but the project doesn't translate it quite clear. Lacks program and spatial diversity.
breathtaking scenery
Excellent visuals!
Amazing! I've seen a different side of my country, thank you.
