The rehabilitation center for koala is designed as a trail of empathy towards koala, trying to create a mini-reserve with an idea of slow architecture. The architecture is low lying and a gentle gesture towards the site where the roof emerges from the ground, thereby accessed as a part of the landscape.

On a steep tropical terrain, the project rises with the slope instead of flattening it. Lifted on slender stilts, the house touches the ground lightly, allowing water, vegetation, and landform to remain natural. It becomes a light structure between earth and canopy, shaped by balance, climate, and nature.
