Tokyo Dojo

The concept of the design was the idea to create a central place where the world of experience around sports and the fan community can be celebrated together. With organic forms, the dynamics of the sport is also shown in the building structure. The design language combines traditional japanese pattern and modern architecture with technology.

THE FLOW , 流れ

"THE FLOW" IS A FLEXIBLE AND LINEAR FLOWING STRUCTURE, THAT OFFERS A PEACE OF MIND AND A GROUNDED PERSONA, SIMILAR TO THE CONCEPT OF IT BEING A STREAM THAT FLOWS FROM THE HIGH-RISE MODERN LIFESTYLE TO A MORE COLLABORATED COMMUNITY LINKED TOGETHER BY THEIR ROOTS, CULTURE, TRADITION AND IS ONE WITH NATURE BY COMBINING TWO DIFF GEOMETRIES.

The platform

The platform is an opporyunity to gather people around culture, sport and food. The project is willing to provide a location near the river but away from the flood. The fact the building has a strict repetitive wooden structure allows it to be dismantled and construded elsewhere. The geometry of the plan strives to create a dialogue with the japanese culture

Kawasaki Olympic Sports Center

Our design primarily focused on community and tradition. Given the context of Kawasaki, Japan, creating a centre that would accommodate the services and needs was imperative. Thus, the Kawasaki Olympics Sports Centre acts as a node that reverberates along the coast of the Tama River.
