BEYOND EPILOGUE

Often treated as the abode of the dead, the crematoriums lurk behind the gloom, cold and numbness of death itself. While they signify the end to some, they ignite the hope of healing and new beginnings for many others. It helps us to look beyond the darkness and tread towards the ray of hope. "Beyond Epilogue" marks the initiations of these new beginnings.

Primitive and Remnant of the Cycle

To eliminate the horror of the cemetery and to reconnect the departed one into our daily life, I believe that the cemetery can be more than a piece of land for resting the deceased. It can also be a decent and splendid place that situates all around our cities.

Parting in matter,Reunion in spirit

People bid farewell to the ashes in a clear spring, let the current lead people to experience parting, merge into a waterfall into the garden, and the memories of loved ones are presented through projection. The material follows the clear spring to return the soil, while the spirit remains here forever to comfort those who come.

Circle of life

Future city cemetery design: In this project, we use "asylum" and "reborn" as the design theme. We believe that after the death of the human body, the flesh returns to the dust, and the soul will ascend to a "tree of life" to shelter the existing people, the flesh will die but the soul and spirit will be reborn in the form of "the tree of life".

Reunion in the sky

Death to all of us means another world, which would be connected just when people come to commemorate them. People hope to find a connection with them. The design uses two highly memorable ferries wheel, which coincide at one point. Infrastructure is behind the wheels, which is faced by old residential building. The body depository is under the ground.
