After-Life
Parting in matter,Reunion in spirit
We believe that death is a parting in the material world, while a memorial ceremony is a reunion in the spiritual world. People recall their lives with the dead, talk about their present lives, and create a reunion with the dead. People humbly put the ashes into a clear spring, where the current leads people through separation and flows into a waterfall into
Back To Earth
The idea of this project is to combine the burial process with the human body compost technology and create a landmark tower to present this process.
Excellent landmark; interesting way of thinking of how do we return to the ground.
I appreciate with the concept of the design above as well as the use of space in the urban city. It is such a good idea to combine the bike and car parking underground which maximise the space in the city.
Love the idea of second life. With a tree to hold on for the love ones is full of commemorative value. This design is eco friendly as the world needs more trees than ever due to the climate crisis is getting worst. The basement carpark is a very good concept for busy cities, gives more spaces for green infrastructure on surface and make it a better place for community.
Simple but strong idea; the estructural criteria is not that clear, but there are great spaces; I would work probably more with the park, topography, pathways...
This is a very ambicious project in both terms of concept and architectural result; probably needs to clarified the scheme and the way the volumes work together, be more specific with the way you walk through the spaces you designed.
Reunion in the sky
Death to all of us means another word, which would be connected just when people come to commemorate them. People always hope to find a connection with them. The design uses two highly memorable ferries wheel, which coincide at one point. Infrastructure is behind the wheels, which is faced by old residential building. The body depository is under the ground.
张总太强啦!!!😍😍😍
It's the best work I've ever seen, creative and designed.

The notion of design is based on the concept of cycle. Death is not the end of life, but the beginning of another. Just as an ancient Chinese poem goes, “Falling red is not ruthless, it turns into spring mud and protects flowers”. Indeed, after its death the spirit of the creature itself is gone, but what it left will be used as the nourishment for other cre
ALL AS ONE
We always think death as the end because we keep separating ourselves from everything that sorround us. But after we die, we will turn into nature and keep on living as one with it, so is death really the end? This project aims to create unique and random interconnected spaces with just one structure and let the life conquer it.
The Light of Rebirth -- Urban Cemetery Design
Death is both the end and the beginning. It's both the passing and the birth. Death is valuable, and can still play a role in the world in another way . In nature, death makes life. Through the natural death and utilization of the individual, nature is constantly realizing new life, continuing in another way of life, so as to maintain vitality forever
Axis of Life: A Cemetery That Composts the Dead Into Living Forests
In Shanghai's Hongkou District, magnetic levitation, composting vessels, and symbolic pathways reimagine deathcare as urban ecology.
Life Path: A Memorial That Buries the Living Before the Dead
A spiraling concrete descent, a forest of memory, and resomation chambers redefine how architecture processes grief and legacy.
Arouse Rebirth: A Spiraling Memorial Tower That Turns Cremation Energy Into New Life
Liko Mu reimagines funerary architecture as a closed-loop ecological system where dandelion seeds, thermal energy recovery, and ritual converge.
In-Touch: A Funerary Landscape That Guides Visitors Through the Cycle of Existence
A sunken circular plaza and layered thresholds of light, material, and descent transform grief into a spatial meditation on mortality and renewal.
This is a great project; such a tremendous idea; just probably the center area can be more specific in terms of the design, but good project in general.
