About Discussions Projects98 Journals10 Publications2

Architectural photography records buildings, interiors and urban spaces for designers, critics and the public. It covers how light, viewpoint and composition shape the reading of a structure, and how images can convey scale, material and spatial sequence that drawings cannot.

Members here share photographs of their own and others' projects, including cultural centers, residences, pavilions and urban renewal work. The submissions range from documentation of recent built work to more experimental images that treat architecture as subject for a broader visual argument.

saudade

This design makes people experience the monotony and density of a city and then makes them find the feelings which architecture should focus on. It provides a different experience and new route every time it is visited by locals or visitors. Saudade is the place of no one and it is also unfamiliar to everyone.

غوټه- The Knot

The غوټه is designed in such a way that it intentionally separates the identity of the widows from everyone that lives outside the center. It is like the center is proclaiming, “Only the ones that reside within me will be intimate with my secrets.” It upgrades the value of its war-torn widows by sharing with them the experience of life within the center.
