Die Brücke
Bridges as architectural and design interventions that connect spaces, communities, and ideas.
Bro Copenhagen
Focusing on connecting both ends of Copenhagen riverbanks and creating a very Danish experience, the bridge becomes the core location of Copenhagen to gather around. Implementing the Danish idea of happiness, "hygge" and inspired by the rich Viking whaling and fishing history, the bridge abstract as harboring boats with hygge-like experience facilities.
The Green Bridge
A new bridge connecting Gammelholm and Christianshavn is an object designed as a walkability manifesto in Copenhagen. It is a public area only for pedestrians and cyclists that provide them with a wide range of facilities and a possibility to rest in many ways.
INTERCONNECTED
This bridge will bring people together and unite those with varied purposes, enabling all walks of life to enjoy the interconnected public spaces. Through this design we create a beacon for Copenhagen and seek to celebrate cycling; promoting its use within the community and throughout the city.
Adaptive Reuse of the Old Bridge
A temporary architectural intervention that reimagines an abandoned bridge as a social connector through adaptive reuse architecture.
The
Display of clear and sufficiently developed ideas. Architectural result of dimensions inconsistent with the context.
Shell bridge
A good urban design must have a perfect transportation system, take into account the people-oriented principle, to achieve the diversion of people and vehicles, to meet the diverse needs. As sustainable transportation, walking, cycling and other transportation facilities, should be built and improved, and the wonderful design is the most friendly to users.
Telling Bridge
The design of the Telling bridge celebrates one of Denmark and Copenhagen’s most renown culture symbol H.C. Andersen and is a anecdote of his beloved fairy tales. The appearance of the bridge is designed to resemble papers from a storybook floating on the waster surface. Page corners are rolled up in natural curves as if someone is flipping through stories.
Nice!
Nice idea.
Brilliant!!!
Play, pause, stop
First of all we wanted our bridge to be easily accessible to everyone. We don't want to set boundaries, we let people set ones themselves. We want them to intersperse as the paths of our bridge. The project itself is quite simple, but the vibes it gives is something that makes it very special.
Floating Islands
The project is all about creating new eco spaces in the city and encourage people to cycling.
