Lunar
Design and architecture projects exploring the moon, lunar exploration, and human habitation on lunar surfaces.
The Mechanical Hive
The Mechanical Hive Lunar Base, located near the lava tubes, relies on hexagonal structural stability inspired by nuts and bolts. This innovative design ensures resilience in the lunar environment while combining sustainability with lunar exploration. It marks a significant leap towards establishing a permanent human presence on the moon.
MODU MOVE
Based on the requirements of the Artemis program and considering the development of the third and later generations of Martian migrants, I expect this design to meet the need for habitats adapted to the extreme environments of Mars and the Moon. Mars and the Moon have many extreme environments, such as extreme weather, localized damage to space stations, and
Deja Vu
"The sense of déjà vu," originally called "Deja Vu" in French, translates to 'seems When humans gaze at the sky from a lunar base in 2124 and see a blue planet, the feeling of deja vu coincides with that of ancient people watching the moon on Earth. It seems that there has always been a subtle link between the earth and the moon. The design of the lunar base
THANK YOU BRO
what a fucking great job, masterpiece
Looking good!

Moonchild
Architecture that inspires new generations to make them want to explore the moon and be an astronaut
The design concept connection to child behavior is extremely thoughtful, however it feels unresolved in the final presentation.
The presentation would have benefited from a few more choice cross-sections or renderings of pedestrian views. Considering the exciting interplay of curve and line along the exterior shell and circulation of the building, it was not obvious enough the first time I scanned over the design. The dedicated section on the design process added meaningful contest but could have been greatly abbreviated to make space for more visuals dedicated to product of that process. Despite the planform, I'm left strongly wanting to know what the interior of the building looks like and whether it harmonizes with the exterior.
Excellent idea
Apollo's Landing
Use of the earth perspective, the crescent moon, is compelling. The crescent moon concept could be further developed as it only appears in one or two elements but has such strength.
The pedestrian view of the overhanging skeletal structure is exciting and invites use of the areas underneath for park-like activities. The skeletal structure when viewed from afar however runs the risk of making the building look like other skeletal buildings - unfinished. This might be a difficult aesthetic for city-planners to accept without a few alterations. There is certainly a lot of interior wide-open space available for use by a curator, but it does not appear that architects have given much thought as to how each space will be used. As presented, the interior is easy to imagine being used for a museum but sterile and difficult to see a strong harmony with youth engagement. This would absolutely be an iconic building but some thought should be given to how the 'lunar' image on the roof could be achieved. Print-based solutions are unlikely to weather well.
Launch pad from the moon: Journey into the unknown
In the design of travel and exploration in space by setting foot on the moon where 3 astronauts stand and set foot on the moon and this movement by surfing on the sea of unknowns and human enthusiasm and sense of curiosity to discover facts. I have compared 3 astronauts who by stepping on the moon became the beginning of exploration in space and planets .
Wow . It's perfect !
Excellent
TRIVIA
Our concept presents a thorThe concept has a hierarchy of spaces starting from the northern edge of the field, being the landscape point, and going into steps towards the underspace of the bridge. The size of the building and organic nature integrate in the natural landscape of the site but imposes also the Washington D.C. nature of building by standing out.
Spacial elements appear unresolved. The concept is interesting however it doesn't shine through in the presentation.
LUNA
LUNA is a hub for cutting-edge lunar and space research, allowing scientists to conduct experiments in low-gravity conditions, study lunar geology, and investigate the Moon's potential as a launchpad for further deep space exploration.
render in which software?
Amazinggggg…. Gorgeous render😍
very good

Isn’t this one being shortlisted and selected for the same competition in 2021 - Can you repeatedly submit the same project??
