About Discussions Projects28 Journals43 Publications5

Neo-urbanism examines how cities can be redesigned to support diverse lifestyles, social connection, and ecological balance. This topic covers emerging urban models that challenge conventional zoning and development patterns through innovative spatial and programmatic strategies.

The community explores adaptive housing typologies, mixed-use urban interventions, and culturally responsive public spaces. Work ranges from nomadic living concepts and maker-focused communities to dense social housing, productive urban peripheries, and experiential architecture that activates contemporary city life.
