Play Space
Designing interactive environments and immersive spaces that engage users through exploration, play, and experiential discovery.
INterSPHERE
Space center that invites for a journey to unknown
can you please explain the diagram with the numbers in it, in the first page, why are there numbers and why are they distributed in such way
The final solution has a wonderful curiosity to it - from a distance it invites thought and creates curiosity. The path to that design solution, while graphically clear, is not intellectually clear.
SPACEPORT: A New Gateway to Space
A visionary commercial spaceport architecture redefining space travel through immersive design, advanced infrastructure, and public engagement.
Temporary Playground For A Permanent Place
“Temporary Playground For A Permanent Place” is a proposal for sensory play for children to freely explore their environment and foster resilience and confidence. The design responds to the site’s natural climate and physicality and seeks to provide a feeling of safety in an otherwise challenging and unstable environment.
fabulous!
A-Maze!
This Anganwadi is built around the concept of ‘A-maze!’, a 3 fold design solution that incorporated Spatial Design, Game Design and Educational Design. It is a Safe Space where children are recognised as beings and not becomings. The concept is versatile in more ways than one, layout, gameplay and incorporates deep learning tools into its system
It is an interesting idea to focus in on modular interactive walls for play and learning and how they can support the requested program. But I think this way of thinking needs to be translated into how the site is laid out and how buildings are formed and interact with each other and the site.
Thank you Zach, I appreciate the honest feedback :) While I did design keeping realistic budgets of an Anganwadi in India in mind, I agree more could have done in terms of translating the concept into the building.
UNIVERSAL PLAYGROUND
Educational pavilion complex with a focus on learning about safe debate and open dialogue through PLAY. The idea is to deal with social problems and politics with a creative and humoristic point of view, with an aim of educating and bringing people together.
Cube Land
The Cube Land Kindergarten tries to combine play, biological, visual, and movement experiences with architectural circulation and micro-space. Familiar spaces for the child in the combination with the Maori culture and the climatic needs of the region shape micro-spaces.
That is wonderfull 😍
I like the several floors of hands-on indoor play and learning that's fun for the whole family. I can see my son play for several hours in this playground exploring, playing and having fun. The slide tops all the fun any kid or kid at heart could have. I also enjoy the idea of enclosed space so no need for parents to keep losing their children. Hands down to this design!
Technically appealing design of the kindergarten, in despite of the geometric grid exciting and diversified areas were created.
OR1GYN-10000-Moss Whoopi
Space habitats are composed of ecosystems, energy systems, safety systems, health care systems, exploration systems, recovery systems and so on. Habitat materials are made of solar panels, which not only collect space energy, but also save the earth's existing resources.
Mining Space Station
We face many challenges in this project, think about Age of Discovery, many people travel to the boundless ocean to find a new world. Today we go into darkness, not just looking wealth, but also keep the human development going.
Moontri
The bubble concept is a unique and fun idea, but extremely impractical as presented. The spirit of the concept should not be abandoned but it would need to be re-developed with safety, activity, passenger rates, and maintenance in mind. Beyond that, the building design is visually enticing. Greater detail on education activities and interior space layout is needed.
PLAY on the Moon
PLAY on the Moon is an interactive center that sparks excitement about space exploration. Cars become spaceships as they ramp up into the air, orbit around the lunar edifice, and land back down on earth. Inside the structure, trilling activities are in place to simulate a young generation's imagination being on the moon.
Wonderful concept that gets to the heart of variable-gravity experiences - movement through space(s) will be completely different!
This is a very fun concept and certainly meets the spirit of engaging the youth. Many of the activities are impractical as presented due to the technical limitations of windtunnels and suspended roadways, but form a great kernel for further exploration. The main feature missing from this presentation though is education. It's unclear how this facility will engage and educate the public about space. The playfulness is good and should be kept, but a lot more education, outreach, and research should be pulled in to the design as well.
Space Matter
'Space matter' is a proposed design concept for a space exploration centre on the outskirts of Washington DC. The building provides spaces to imagine and inspire the younger generations of the potential of space exploration in the future. The concept reflects mankind's curiosity in
Thanks for your feedback it really is appreciated!
Thank you Kim, I really appreciate this!
This concept is both exciting and confusing in spots. I can't follow the progression of your sheets but generally like everything I see - perhaps a bit more clarity in the visual narrative and evolution from concept to final design.
SPACEPORT
The commercial spaceport represent a new transportation typology. It must respond to the new technical demands of space travel, also acknowledge its import as a gateway for millions of people to the last & greatest of frontiers. The commercial spaceport not only responsible for education, training, and rehabilitation of passengers, but also for "wowing" them
Exploring the Milky Way
The project aims to create an interactive open space that allows for free movement in the project , between the different volumes . The concept is inspired from the space where the planets and stars are dynamically placed forming the milky way. The main idea is to create
Quite interesting
The presentation has a wonderful ethereal quality that responds to the natural elements of the site in a compelling way.
Good project. Good luck!
Beyond The Known
Beyond The Unknown is a multi-use public urban landscape that connects the younger generation through their imagination as well as creative minds. The different zones throughout the center will enhance their experience leaving them with an interest in space exploration symbolizing the outstanding scientific achievement leaving hope for future generations.
Spacetrip
You did a wonderful job of placing us in an experience. Graphically compelling however, I'm curious about the final design. How does it work structurally?
I love the full functioning design of the museum!
