UPCYCLED PAVILION
The pavilion was constructed using 30,000 discarded plastic bottles obtained through the support of leading hotels & beverage companies. Redefining Resources
The main focus of the project is recycling - collecting the waster form water and transfoming it into new products. Based on the original idea of Bauhaus, the key method will be connecting craft with art, thus enabling students to make product with both function and meaning.

RAGE is a school that deals with the problem of landfills and generally the garbage that our planet will soon not be able to accept. Only through facing and educating future generations about problems, can we expect change and survival.

This is a well intentioned and thought through proposal, however the approach and programming ( big idea) is not very convincing due to the scale and overall effect. If large chimneys were the desired outcome technically it may have been possible to execute in a more compelling manor.
Some strong ideas, but the scale of the tower is overwhelming in its context. Many attempts to create low-income housing in tall towers have failed for this reason.

I understand -or at least hope- that this monument is intended to grow with time because the amount of plastic that can be recovered is truly enormous. So it would be good to see a diagram how these cylindrical units multiply over the course of time and occupy the whole site.
Architecture as a catalyst for urban waste reduction
Urban waste, one of the most critical challenges in cities, is collected in heaves which become a key factor in urban pollution. The aim of this thesis is to unite the infrastructure for waste reduction management with conscious architecture and landscape design. It creates awareness amongst the people rejuvenates these urban wastelands as public spaces.

It can benefit the world's health by taking waste from one flow, recycling it, and shipping it worldwide by inserting it into another current route - without any additional energy used. The structure is politically, economically and socially independent, and able to expand further.

The design outcome submerges the fact of creating clear sea and adjoining a piece of land with the territorial waters. Along with making economy and boosting worldwide knowledge, one can slay a barrier of artificial island in relation with the sea; a base to bring in people together to raise a bar for the informal connectivity and experimental learning.
