The pavilion was constructed using 30,000 discarded plastic bottles obtained through the support of leading hotels & beverage companies. The main focus of the project is recycling - collecting the waster form water and transfoming it into new products. Based on the original idea of Bauhaus, the key method will be connecting craft with art, thus enabling students to make product with both function and meaning.

Architecture as a catalyst for urban waste reduction
Urban waste, one of the most critical challenges in cities, is collected in heaves which become a key factor in urban pollution. The aim of this thesis is to unite the infrastructure for waste reduction management with conscious architecture and landscape design. It creates awareness amongst the people rejuvenates these urban wastelands as public spaces.

The CycleHaus is located in the middle of the largest world's ocean current. It can benefit the world's health by taking waste from one flow, recycling it, and shipping it worldwide by inserting it into another current route - without any additional energy used. The structure is politically, economically and socially independent, and able to expand further.
