Afloat: A Floating Indonesian City That Uses Shared Housing to Ease Ethnic Tension
Timber gables, fishing grids and planted islets form a water district where a common way of living becomes the ground on which neighbors meet.
modularity is the solution
The idea of creating a bus station not only as a piece of urban furniture but also as a multidisciplinary platform was positively valued since they include architectural concepts such as the unit, industrialized building, and spatial flexibility as part of the design. Likewise, including renewable energy, ICT, and recycled materials in most of the projects was also judged positively. In some designs, a final product that integrates within the environment on an adequate scale is missing.
good overall idea of different types of modules with potential elements

Redefining Play
Struggle, Despair, Loss, Memory, Loss of Identity are just a few abbreviations for the feelings of refugees. The idea was to design a Distraction, from negative chaos of the refugee camps towards positive chaos of happiness, by creating a dynamic and provoking form.
The concept and presentation are up to the mark. The formal expression of the space has an exotic, sporty and adventurous feel to it which is perfect considering the target group. But the structural solution requires feasibility analysis and could be a bit expensive compared to others. Shrinking the control over the design a bit could result into something better. Simplification is required.
I Feel that the project present a great a simple idea, with a good presentation and work.

Hongkou Cemetery: A City of the Dead
The design seeks to respond to the ever-increasing need for more accessible burial places in Shanghai by exploring a balance between efficient density and quality of space, drawing from the concepts of qi – 氣 – and the well-field system – 井田制度 – which are traditional to Chinese planning.
Very ambicious project, there is a very well understanding of process concerning the city fabric; probably a little bit dense in terms of dimensions in relationship with the site, but structurally well planned.
Landfill to Landform_A Story of Transformation

Life line of a city
A city has it's own vibration and essence. This life of the city affects it's citizen in a subconsciousness matter. Through this symbiosis within city and urban furniture, a new aspect of life can be given to the city and it's citizens. Our aim is to reveal the life of the city to it's citizens.
Rethinking Resilience
The project embraces flood as a natural phenomena as the premise to imagine the possibility of secure human habitation. With this as the central idea, the project defines resilience to be two fold- 1.to be prepared before flood. 2. sustenance and recuperating post flood scenario. In its execution, the project encapsulates this idea at three distinct scales.
Lacks of clarity in the relations of the different proposed spaces.
Immature conceptual thinking. A great idea but design outcomes are a disappointment.
