Every house must answer all fundamental needs for a human.Before overgrowing of cities and residential towers,houses were connected to the street with smaller streets giving the dwellers an opportunity to interact with people of neighborhood.today apartments connect units by stairs and elevators which are in lack of Serendipity.

ALTERNATE HOME

We hope to design a new prefabricated module to propose a solution to inferior daylight,ventilation and sanitation for low-rent Community. Alternate overlapped modules can save half the amount of materials, thereby reducing construction costs and making it affordable for low-income people.Variable units can be inhabited by different owners alternatively.

The traditional housing type can't fulfill people's need with diversified lifestyle. As a result, we propose a concept, "Dynamics Social Infrastructure." It means that besides the basic necessary space in every living unit, there will be dynamic share space attached outside the basic living unit. So that we can create a multi-function housing in constraints.

New Babylon II

New Babylon II aims to develop a highly circuitry plugin housing network of a miniature and autonomous city with machine tectonics. It discusses about a technological utopia of how human being, ecology and technology can come together to reject the housing shortage and the social inequality.

The project proposal is about the appropriation of the residuales spaces that are currently the result of the existing turns between the crossings of two avenues. With a geometric adaptation in the implantation space that will allow the building to be adapted to different terrain cases.

OCTA-TOWER

Our proposal focuses on the prevention of expiration in architecture. Through the arrangement of modular slices, we have created dwelling units that can be updated or replaced individually throughout time. These units can be connected and stacked to adapt and grow into a large structure. We have fully designed one unit in detail to represent our proposal.

HAH - Hexagonal Affordable Housing

Abbreviated as HAH for 'hexagonal affordable housing', the design is for a mid-rise residential building comprised of 84 trapezoidal housing cells that are attached to a structural grid and slide in and out, much like drawers in a dresser. It explores various lighting concepts and the Japanese shinchintaisha movement through a modern, technological lens.

The base is located in the city village of Shenzhen, hoping to explore a kind of residential mode which is from the city village but superior to it. The proposal is located in Guangzhou, China. To respond the increasing need of housing in a more and more dense city and inspired by the fluent movement of ribbon, we design the so called Ribbon House in the city center of Guangzhou.

Given the minimum dimensions required, non-hierarchical spaces are appealed and the server spaces are suppressed. The furniture, easily interchangeable, will be the ones that define the character of spaces, a priori without a preliminary use and with a big flexibility. In turn, common areas and orchards are essential to create a neighborhood community.

We decompose the elements of housing and propose a system to make people reorganize "home" by their own requirement. The period of dwelling can be a day, a week or a month, based on residents' choices. Decide what kind of home you prefer. With Synchronizing Village and a luggage, "home" can be produced in real-time anywhere around the world.

Rubik's Cube Home??plugin housing design

We get the concept of this design from the construction of magic cube. Rubik's cube can be quickly disassembled and assembled, and can form a variety of changes. We regard each residential unit module as a small block, forming a large unit around the axis. Different house types can be combined freely, and each module can be replaced.

We've learned that honeybees' hives are very sophisticated, adaptable, and material efficient. Honeycomb is composed of innumerable size in the same room, room hole is hexagonal, this can be the most efficient for the use of space, by reference to the structure of the honeycomb type, apply it to the combination of affordable housing.
