Vertical wood panels line the façade, acting as veils that filter sunlight and create a rhythm of openness and retreat. These elements transform the elevation into a living skin, capable of breathing with the daily rhythms of life. Inviting Movement Through Space

Accessed via a ramp that acts as a transition rather than a threshold, House EJ welcomes visitors with a processional experience. This ramp is more than circulation—it’s a gentle ascent from street to sanctuary. Once inside, the house reveals a thoughtful subtraction: a void carved out from the massing that unveils a serene courtyard beneath a pergola.
