Located in the lush surroundings of Karjat, Maharashtra, the Eutierria Wellness Centre by Urban Circle is a thoughtful embodiment of wellness architecture design. Set within the tranquil landscape of Oleander Farms, this project redefines how architecture can nurture mental and physical well-being by integrating seamlessly into nature.

The 1373-square-meter wellness centre invites visitors into a space where architecture, landscape, and emotion harmonize. Rooted in the concept of Eutierria—a term that expresses oneness with the earth—the design blurs the lines between the built and the natural. Instead of imposing itself on the two-acre site, the structure nestles into it, weaving through the existing forest canopy without cutting down a single tree.

Architectural Harmony with the Landscape

Urban Circle’s design philosophy of creating environments that gently immerse into their surroundings is vividly realized here. Trees grow through the roofs, frame the spatial volumes, and serve as anchors to the architecture. Each tree is respected as an element of the composition, enhancing the natural rhythm of the site and establishing a spiritual connection to the landscape.

From the moment one steps onto the site, there is a slow and sensory transition from dense forest to a curated architectural sanctuary. The entrance wing, a sleek composition of metal frames and glass, acts as a gateway into the wellness experience. Transparency and visual continuity ensure that nature remains ever-present.

Spatial Composition and Flow

The Eutierria Wellness Centre is composed of four independent wings that radiate around a central swimming pool. This expansive water body serves as both a visual focal point and a space of relaxation. The entrance wing is accentuated by a sculptural installation—a levitating rock suspended above a shallow reflective pool. This element becomes a sensory anchor, symbolizing mental stillness and inner peace. The gentle ripple of water becomes the soundscape that guides visitors inward.

Flanking the pool are two smaller wings that house gender-specific changing rooms, each equipped with sauna and steam facilities.
