FALA ATELIER's "Micro Masterpiece": The Very Tiny Palazzo Redefining Space and Scale

This tiny palace, nestled in a narrow garden, is a sight to behold. Its luxuriant environment suggests an ambivalent approach to the architectural object. At human height, the palace is transparent, yet its crown is proud and adorned with precious stones, spanning across the perimeter walls. Inside, the space is both simple and rich, partially sunken to emphasize the presence of the surrounding greenery. In a manner reminiscent of Loos, two distinct areas are defined by the different floors, each with its own degree of intimacy. The only walls are the longitudinal sides of the space, in continuity with the garden's perimeters. The bathroom and storage room is hidden behind a unitary cabinet of lacquered wood, whose scale is deliberately between architecture and furniture. After all, a palace shouldn't be too simple.
