Sustainable Urban Living: LIVE EUR Apartments by Studio IT'S
LIVE EUR Apartments in Rome combine sustainability, modern design, and comfort, redefining urban residential architecture.
Nestled in Rome's distinctive EUR district, the LIVE EUR Apartments by Studio IT'S redefine the concept of sustainable urban living. Spanning 1,600 m² and completed in 2023, this residential project is a modern testament to the principles of the Active House vision, focusing on environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and enhancing occupants' comfort.

Design Philosophy
Embracing Active House Principles
The design of LIVE EUR Apartments is deeply rooted in the Active House framework, which prioritizes a neutral environmental impact through the use of renewable energy sources such as heat pumps and solar panels. This approach ensures that the building not only supports a sustainable lifestyle but also contributes positively to the urban fabric.

Optimizing Natural Light and Ventilation
A key feature of the apartments is their strategic orientation, designed to maximize natural light and cross-ventilation. Each apartment boasts openings on two opposite sides, with living areas that enjoy panoramic views and seamless transitions to expansive terraces, effectively blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Architectural Highlights
High-Quality Materials and Finishings
The interior of LIVE EUR Apartments showcases a selection of fine materials, including durmast wood and Alabastrino travertine, lending the spaces a sense of refined elegance. The incorporation of custom-designed plissé surfaces further exemplifies the project's commitment to aesthetic excellence.

Harmonious Integration with the Urban Context
Situated in a low-density area known for its green spaces and high-quality living standards, the building's volume is thoughtfully set back from the street to allow for a front garden. This decision, along with the building's simple yet impactful volume, ensures a respectful and continuous dialogue with its surroundings.

Sustainable Features
The LIVE EUR Apartments stand as a model for sustainable urban development, featuring:
- Renewable Energy Utilization: A commitment to zero emissions through solar power and heat pumps.
- Domotic System Integration: Advanced automation for efficient energy management.
- Material Selection: Use of next-generation dark ceramic coating for the facade, echoing the architectural heritage of the EUR district.
LIVE EUR Apartments by Studio IT'S represent a significant advancement in sustainable urban living, offering a contemporary living solution that is both environmentally responsible and luxuriously comfortable. Through its innovative design and thoughtful integration of green technologies, this project sets a new benchmark for residential architecture in Rome, balancing the demands of modern living with the imperatives of sustainability.
