The Giacopello Pavilion is part of the second edition of Casa Besign Puebla, an event where more than twenty offices of designers, architects, and landscapers participate by intervening with a space in an old house. This year, Casa Giacopello was chosen - popularly known as the House of the Dwarves - which was built in the 19th century and is located in the centre of Puebla City.

The rooftop of a house was transformed by HDA: Hector Delmar Arquitectura + Taller Paralelo into a garden terrace. The space, which was previously used as a service area made up of three attics, now serves as an extension of the house's habitable spaces. The design features three wooden platforms connected by a light structure, referencing the three attics linked by the existing mansard. The platforms are suspended on steel profiles to minimize the weight on the slab and beam structure.
