Rethinking Craft in the Age of Digital Fabrication
Flowing Ink
We get inspiration from traditional landscape paintings. The shape of the furniture starts with a piece of brush and ink and it can change according to climate change.
Glowing Ripple _ Paper Strip Lighting Fixture
There is a glitch in the levels that cause the model to create unsustainable winding for fabrication. I like how varied you can get with the design but if the strips are to be cut from a thin medium like paper or plastic, you'd need some sort of support structure to allow resisting sag due to gravity. Something simple like a wire, or radial fins to support the strips in place would be needed. Watch out when exporting too small as the geometry can become unusable.
For this to be made out of paper - each stripe needs to be a developable surface (meaning - capable of unrolling into a flat sheet) , which is an additional restriction that should be followed during the design process.
It's My Scene
Under the context of renewing social environment, old residential communities is faced with changes. Young people is moving into the old communities due to several reasons. Through the integration of the spatial framework and function modules, a set of life scenarios are created for different young people.
Precise Imprecision
Flexible Construction with Robotic Fabric Formwork Precise Imprecision defines a new robotic construction technique through stack casting fabric molds by KUKA industrial robot and human, and re-defines "precise" and "imprecise" in digital fabrication.

Invention, Evolution, and Furniture
An essay on the ever-changing role of furniture and furniture design.
Red Pill // Blue Pill
The philosophy, Evolution through Context, can be defined in many ways but none more so than the willingness to evolve and the consciousness to c
A very interesting idea, both in terms of its sculptural take on urban furniture and its flexibility in use. It would be important to have more information about the material, construction technique, functioning of the hinge system, etc. That would allow us a more accurate judgment.
