Flexible Seating
Seating systems and furniture designed to adapt to multiple uses, users, and spatial contexts.
Flexible seating encompasses furniture and spatial interventions that respond to changing needs and environments. Rather than fixed, single-purpose pieces, these designs prioritize adaptability through modular systems, material innovation, and structural thinking.
The community explores modular benches and chairs that serve multiple functions in public and domestic spaces, material-driven approaches to furniture design, and how seating can activate underused areas and accommodate diverse user groups.
