In harmony with nature
1.What was the concept behind the project?
The original concept was focused on fluidity in user movement. Following the possible movements on the site, directions were obtained which later influenced the shaping. As for the interior, the concept has been applied in the form of open spaces, corridors, without walls and obstacles.
2.How many iterations were tried to arrive at the final outcome?
Starting from the irregular, fluid shapes of the buildings, there was a modular division of the existing plot, a square module 3x3m which multiplied depending on the purpose and function of the building.
3.How was the programme condensed into final?
The program is designed so that there are enclosed spaces upstairs, isolated from visitors. They consist of classrooms, rest areas, conference rooms, toilets ... The rooms on the ground floor are intended for exhibiting works in the form of a museum.
4.What/How were the materials chosen?
The materials were chosen so that the object was in harmony with nature, to be close to it. So wood is used from the material.
