JKMM Architects have skillfully blended traditional Finnish architecture with modern design principles. The building's black spruce-clad elevations pay homage to historic timber structures, while the interior embraces an open, loft-like aesthetic inspired by Nordic hall typology. Chappe Art House is strategically positioned in the museum quarter of Tammisaari, physically linking to the adjacent Raseborg Museum via an underground passage. The three-level structure is designed for optimal functionality:
