Architectural Concept: A Balance Between Accessibility and Safety

The primary objective behind the design was to construct a robust yet transparent police station. The architects successfully achieved this by incorporating thick walls for security, while simultaneously integrating large windows and open spaces that promote transparency and accessibility.

Exterior Design: A Strong and Welcoming Presence

The facade of the building exudes strength and permanence, crucial characteristics for a police station. The structure features prominent entrances, reinforcing the station's public-friendly design while ensuring controlled access for security reasons.

Interior Spaces: Functionality Meets Comfort

The interior layout of the District Office Police is structured around two key areas:

1. Reception Hall

Positioned at the front of the building, the reception hall serves as a primary interface between the police and the public. It is designed to be open, inviting, and accessible, allowing visitors to easily obtain information or assistance.

2. Landscape Office

Located towards the back, the landscape office is a shared working space for police staff. This area is bright and airy, featuring large windows that overlook the green backyard, creating a calm and efficient work environment.

Materiality and Aesthetic Choices

To prevent a sterile office ambiance, the architects carefully selected warm materials and inviting colors. This approach enhances the overall user experience, making the space feel welcoming and professional at the same time.
