Exquisite Havens: Unveiling the Enchanting Escapes of Villa Nhabé-Scholae
Is Villa Nhabé-Scholae the Ultimate Oasis of Tranquility and Luxury?

Chu Se Villa is a low-cost construction located in the highland countryside of Vietnam. The project consists of creating 3 small buildings (a family house, a kitchen, and a workshop) grouped around the old farmhouse. For the past two decades, the site’s farmland has been devoted to a mono-culture coffee plantation. Acknowledging the limits of this farming method, the owner decided to diversify his plantation by adding different species of plants alongside the coffee plots already in place. The old farm has since been undergoing a lively process of regeneration and enrichment in terms of biodiversity. As for our project, it was an attempt to integrate the cultural story of the site by adopting the orthogonal grid based on the existing plantation geometry. We have carefully located our buildings so that the dynamic space between them is suitable for the creation of new small gardens, each of which follows a different theme.
